2018 Forum on Nuclear Export Control Practices Forum is the fourth nuclear export control event organized by the Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulation (FANR) in recent years. The objectives of the 2018 Forum are to update the participants about recent developments in the field of nuclear export control, both at the international and national level. This knowledge will enable them to further strengthen national regulatory frameworks and to better address the many challenges in this area. The target audiences are international and national competent authorities working in the field of nuclear export control.
The Forum will start with a one-day workshop on the analysis of proliferation networks. During the next three days, international and national speakers will present their experiences and methodologies related to the evaluation of national export control systems; the use of Harmonized System (HS) codes for export control; United Nations Security Council Resolutions and their implementation at the national level; the work of the Panels of Experts for Iran and the DPRK; sanctions implementation and evasions; cooperation and training; and national good practices of export control and enforcement.
The workshop will be held at the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Dubai, UAE.
