FANR deploys its first two female resident inspectors to Barakah Nuclear Power Plant

FANR deployed this month, for the first time, two females to be FANR’s resident inspectors at Barakah Nuclear Power Plant.
 
The two female inspectors are planned to stay a term of 2 years representing FANR at the power plant station. Currently, there are six resident inspectors at Barakah Nuclear Power Plant.
 
FANR resident inspectors play an important role in conducting regulatory oversight at Barakah Nuclear Power Plant including construction, commissioning, operation readiness and operations. They act as Liaison Officer in FANR Emergency Response Organization (FERO).
